Stunning view, marvellous staff, the accommodation includes a flat-screen TV and electric kettle for your comfort, and the convenient trains from the nearby station make it easy to explore the city.

Charming place with a cozy vibe! The owners were super accommodating, even decked out the Garden Room for us since we booked late. The full English breakfast was delicious, and the gardens are lovely for wandering around. A minor issue, shared bathrooms can get busy during peak times. But it didn’t ruin our stay at all!

The charming decor and homely atmosphere made me feel welcome. The communal areas were clean and relaxing, providing beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, which was easily accessible for someone my age.

More grab bars in the bathroom would be helpful.

great location but modest amenities

The location by the canal is picturesque and perfect for exploring the Peak District. I appreciated having a separate entrance to the lovely garden room, which made my stay feel more private and exclusive.

i had an amazing stay during my one night in marple. the room was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the countryside. breakfast was delicious, featuring a freshly cooked full english that set me up for the day.

Our triple room offered only two towels, which felt a tad insufficient for three guests. Breakfast orders were occasionally mixed up due to a lack of order-taking tools, and the room we used was on the chilly side, making for a less than comfortable sleep. Plus, hauling bags up two flights of steep stairs wasn’t exactly a highlight of our stay.

Noise can creep in at night, especially with late-night occupants, making the early hours less peaceful. the 'bathroom' situation resembles a converted cupboard, feeling more cramped than a typical setup.
